Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, has announced the release of Sagui Dekel Chen and two other hostages by Hamas in Gaza. This marks nearly 500 days of captivity for the individuals. President Trump continues to focus on his commitment to bringing Americans home safely.

Despite this positive development, Hamas still holds 73 hostages, including New Jersey native Edan Alexander, as well as the remains of four Americans who were murdered in Gaza. Secretary Rubio emphasized the urgency of their return, stating: "They must ALL come home NOW."

Rubio condemned Hamas for their actions, describing them as reflecting "sick depravity." He also urged international partners to convey to Hamas leaders that their current course of action is dangerous: "I call on our partners to help impress upon Hamas’ leaders that they are playing with fire."
