Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to embark on a diplomatic tour, starting with a visit to Munich on February 13. His participation in the Munich Security Conference will involve discussions on various U.S. priorities with international partners. During his time in Munich, Secretary Rubio will also attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Following his engagements in Germany, Secretary Rubio will travel to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates from February 15 to 18. The focus of these meetings with senior officials will be on promoting U.S. interests related to regional cooperation, stability, and peace.

The agenda for this trip includes efforts to secure the release of American and other hostages held by Hamas, progressing to Phase II of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and addressing the destabilizing actions of Iran and its affiliates.

Spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated that these engagements are crucial for advancing key objectives in these regions.
