Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to travel to Munich on February 13, where he will participate in the Munich Security Conference. During this event, he will engage in discussions with international partners on various U.S. priorities. Additionally, Secretary Rubio will attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting while in Munich.

Following his time in Germany, Secretary Rubio's itinerary includes visits to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates from February 15-18. According to Spokesperson Tammy Bruce, "Secretary Rubio’s engagements with senior officials will promote U.S. interests in advancing regional cooperation, stability, and peace."

The focus of this diplomatic trip includes efforts to secure the release of American and other hostages held by Hamas, progressing towards Phase II of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and addressing destabilizing actions by Iran and its allies.
