A Consular Officer from the U.S. Embassy is scheduled to visit the British Virgin Islands on February 20, 2025. The purpose of this visit is to accept applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad by appointment only. It is important to note that visa-related issues will not be addressed during this visit.
The appointments will take place at Maria’s by the Sea Hotel Conference Room in Road Town, Tortola, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the specified date. Applicants must schedule their appointments online at https://bb.usembassy.gov/consular-outreach-visits-for-u-s-citizen-services, as walk-ins will not be accommodated.
Applicants are required to bring a completed passport application, two passport-size photos, original proof of U.S. citizenship, a social security card, a prepaid air waybill for return mailing of the new passport, and printed proof of online payment. Originals and photocopies of all documents are necessary.
For children under 16 years old, additional documentation such as a birth certificate and both parents' identification is required. If both parents are listed on the birth certificate but cannot attend together with the child, a notarized Form DS-3053 must be submitted by the non-attending parent.
All fees for services must be paid online prior to the appointment; cash or credit cards will not be accepted onsite. Payment confirmation should be printed and brought to the appointment.
