The U.S. Embassy in Brazzaville has announced a program that may allow certain visa applicants to renew their visas without scheduling an interview appointment. The program is available to individuals who meet specific criteria and allows them to drop off documents during designated hours at the embassy.

Applicants must be applying for tourism/business (B1, B2) or student/exchange (F, M, or J) visas and must have an existing visa in the same category that expired no more than 12 months ago. Additionally, their most recent visa application must have resulted in approval. The program is open to Congolese citizens or residents of the Republic of Congo.

For student/exchange visa applicants, additional requirements include having an active SEVIS, returning to the same school or program, and possessing a signed I-20 from the school within the last 12 months.

Eligible applicants can bring their documents during normal pass-back hours on Monday/Wednesday from 1400-1500 and Friday from 1000-1100. Required documents include the most recent passport, DS-160 application confirmation, and for F, M, or J applicants, SEVIS confirmation and signed I-20.

The Consular Section will determine eligibility upon receiving these documents and provide further instructions if applicable. Ineligible participants will need to retrieve their documents and schedule an appointment online following standard procedures.
