The United States has announced an additional $404 million in humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and surrounding areas. This brings the total U.S. assistance to over $674 million in the past eight months. The U.S., recognized as the largest single-country donor of humanitarian aid to Palestinians, emphasizes the urgent need for increased support due to dire conditions.

The newly allocated funds aim to provide essential services such as food, safe drinking water, healthcare, protection, education, shelter, and psychosocial support to vulnerable populations in these regions. The U.S. remains committed to addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

In a call for international cooperation, the United States urges other donors to contribute more significantly to relief efforts and work towards sustainable solutions for those affected by the conflict.
