The Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) Program is inviting applications for its upcoming three-month exchange set to take place in the United States from March to June 2025. This program targets emerging community leaders aged 21 to 27 who are engaged in themes such as civic dialogue and peacebuilding, open and participatory government, women and gender issues, environmental sustainability, and youth engagement.

The CEE Program aims to support these young leaders from around the world by placing them at the intersection of public, private, and non-profit sectors. During their stay in the U.S., participants will work with host organizations that address similar civil society issues. This experience allows fellows to enhance their skills while sharing their own knowledge with the host community. Additionally, they will undergo a comprehensive curriculum focused on civic engagement and leadership, emphasizing values-based problem-solving rooted in democratic principles.

After completing their U.S. exchange, participants will return home to implement a six-month project centered on one of the five key themes mentioned earlier. The initiative is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding from the U.S. Government and is supported by IREX.

Applications for this opportunity can be submitted via https://cee.irex.org/ until July 2, 2024.
