JetBlue has introduced the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard, a premium credit card issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank. This card is tailored for frequent travelers and everyday spenders, offering a range of benefits such as complimentary lounge access and priority boarding.

Applications for the JetBlue Premier Card are now open, with an introductory offer of 70,000 TrueBlue points and 5 tiles toward Mosaic status after spending $5,000 in the first three months. This offer provides cardholders a head start toward achieving Mosaic status, which includes perks like EvenMore upgrades and additional free checked bags.

Chris Buckner, JetBlue’s vice president of loyalty and partnerships, stated: “Adding products and perks our customers want is a key part of our JetForward plan, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce the JetBlue Premier Card.” He emphasized that the card builds on existing programs to deliver more benefits both on land and in-flight.

Tim Mills from Barclays US Consumer Bank expressed enthusiasm about the launch: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new JetBlue Premier Card, marking a significant milestone in our successful decade-long partnership with JetBlue.”

The card comes with an annual fee of $499 ($150 for each authorized user) and offers various travel benefits including:

- Complimentary access to upcoming lounges at JFK Terminal 5 and BOS Terminal C.

- Access to over 1,500 Priority Pass lounges worldwide.

- Up to $300 in Paisly statement credits annually.

- Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee credit every four years.

- Group A boarding on JetBlue flights.

- One free checked bag for up to three companions per reservation when using the card.

Cardholders can earn points rapidly through purchases: six points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases; two points per dollar at restaurants and grocery stores; one point per dollar on other purchases. Additionally, they receive bonuses such as anniversary bonus points and discounts on in-flight purchases.

The Premier Card joins other co-branded cards under Barclays' partnership with JetBlue since 2016. To apply or learn more about this new offering, interested individuals can visit jetbluepremiercard.com.
