The U.S. Embassy in Panama has announced a visit by representatives from the Consular Section to Boquete, scheduled for February 12, 2025. During this visit, they will provide limited services at the Boquete Library.

Available services include U.S. passport renewals and notarial tasks. The consular team will be present from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and then from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the specified date.

Services are restricted to specific categories, which require confirmed appointments. These include passport applications for minors with previous U.S. passports, first-time adult passport applications for those over 16 with previous U.S. passports, and adult passport renewals issued less than fifteen years ago. Additionally, replacement of lost or stolen U.S. passports is available.

Notarial services offered will cover submission of a non-applying parent consent form (DS-3053), foreign driver’s license validation, U.S. Social Security Administration-related matters, and income statements needed for Panamanian residency purposes.

Interested individuals must request an appointment via the provided link until all slots are filled. Confirmation emails will be sent to successful applicants containing necessary instructions.

"We look forward to seeing you," stated the announcement from the embassy representatives.
