The U.S. government has begun a partial shutdown due to a lapse in appropriations. During this period, the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow, and the U.S. Consular Agency in Poznan will continue providing services to U.S. citizens.

"For now we expect to also continue providing visa and other consular services in Poland," stated an official source from the embassy.

The situation is being closely monitored, and if there are any changes affecting visa applicants or consular services, they will be contacted directly by the embassy.

"We will contact affected visa applicants directly and inform the public through the embassy’s website‎," added the same source.

This announcement was communicated across different languages to ensure clarity for all stakeholders involved.
