The U.S. Embassy has announced its support for the upcoming "Women in Tech Summit," scheduled to take place at the Warsaw Expo on November 27-28. This event, organized by the Perspektywy Foundation, a non-profit organization, aims to provide a platform for women professionals in the technology sector. The summit will focus on sharing experiences, exploring career opportunities, and inspiring professional growth among participants.
During the two-day event, women students, professionals, researchers, and top managers from global hi-tech companies will engage in discussions about the future of IT technology. Topics will include its social impact and women's contributions to this crucial economic sector. Notably, this summit is the first of its kind to unite regions from Central and Eastern Europe with Central Asia.
Participants and speakers are expected from Poland and other EU countries, as well as Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and additional countries in Central Asia. A career fair will be held concurrently with the summit. Top technology companies interested in expanding their organizations will recruit students and young professionals during this fair.
The organizers and sponsors of the summit—including the U.S. Embassy—are offering travel funding to enable students and young engineers from various regions to attend. Those interested in more information or wishing to participate can visit the summit's website at www.womenintechsummit.pl.
