On October 26, Ambassador Mosbacher inaugurated the first PL+U.S. Youth Forum and officially opened the American Center Warsaw at Warsaw’s University of Technology. The event was attended by Minister for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Jadwiga Emilewicz and Warsaw University of Technology’s Vice-Rector for Science Rajmund Bacewicz. During the forum's commencement, Ambassador Mosbacher urged an audience of 300 Polish students to “dream big,” while Polish officials encouraged them to contribute to Poland and explore opportunities linking them with the United States.

The PL+U.S. Youth Forum is a significant part of the U.S. Embassy’s yearlong “Sto Lat Razem” celebrations, which commemorate Poland's rebirth and U.S. support from a century ago. The forum featured panels and keynote presentations focusing on four main pillars of cooperation between the U.S. and Poland: security, economic prosperity, people-to-people exchanges, and democracy. These panels included Polish alumni from U.S. government exchange programs who emphasized the importance of alumni in reinforcing the strong relationship between both countries.

Youth participants engaged in networking sessions with representatives from the Embassy, U.S. military, NGOs, and Polish businesses where they learned about travel opportunities to the United States as well as career-enhancing prospects within Poland.

The event also marked the official opening of the American Center Warsaw with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Ambassador Mosbacher alongside Polish officials. Planned over several years, this center will serve as a primary resource hub for American Corners across Poland. Students were encouraged to utilize it for learning about opportunities in America and attending future training sessions on technology and entrepreneurship topics.

Through resources like the American Center Warsaw and its network of American Corners, Poles can enhance their understanding of America while further strengthening bilateral ties rooted in people-to-people relationships.
