The American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham) hosted a reception at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel on October 16 to welcome Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher. The event marked her inauguration as Honorary Chair of the AmCham Board of Directors. During the gathering, AmCham Chairman Tony Housh introduced the Ambassador to approximately 150 members and guests and presented her with an AmCham pin.

In her address, Ambassador Mosbacher highlighted her priorities for U.S.-Polish relations. These include enhancing bilateral trade and investment, maintaining strong people-to-people connections and shared democratic values, strengthening Poland's energy security, and reinforcing Poland's ties to NATO.

The Embassy maintains a collaborative relationship with AmCham, which is one of the largest international business associations in Poland. It represents over 300 companies from various sectors, including 80 Fortune 500 companies. According to AmCham estimates, U.S. companies have invested more than $43 billion in Poland since 1990 and directly employ over 220,000 people in the country.
