U.S. Embassy offers consular services for citizens in Langkawi

The U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has announced that its American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit will be offering passport, Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), and notarial services for U.S. citizens in Langkawi on the morning of Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The exact time and location for these services are yet to be determined.

The embassy advises that all fees for passport and CRBA services must be paid online through the U.S. government's secure payment site. Notarial services require payment via banker's cheque, not personal cheque. Additional information regarding payment requirements will be provided in the appointment confirmation email.

U.S. citizens or parents of U.S. citizen minors interested in these services should register their interest by February 14th to receive further details about the venue and to book an appointment slot.
