In commemoration of the 76th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising on April 19, 1943, Ambassador Mosbacher participated in official events organized by the Jewish Association for Culture and Social Affairs and the Warsaw Ghetto Museum. A wreath was laid at the Warsaw Ghetto Heroes Monument in downtown Warsaw. Earlier, Ambassador Mosbacher and the U.S. Embassy took part in the "Daffodils" social and educational campaign led by the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews to honor the heroism of the Ghetto's fighters. The campaign has been raising awareness since 2013 with over 1,000 institutions across Poland annually distributing paper daffodils as a symbol of remembrance.

On April 18, on the eve of this anniversary, embassy personnel attended a music concert held by the POLIN Museum to honor musicians from the Jewish Symphony Orchestra who played while interned in the Warsaw Ghetto. This included Josima Feldschuh, an 11-year-old pianist who escaped but later died of tuberculosis. The concert featured Lauren Zhang, a 17-year-old U.S.-born musician who won BBC's Young Musician Contest in 2018, performing with Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra under Gabriel Chmura's direction.

The Embassy also selected six teachers from Polish schools for a Holocaust teacher training program funded by the U.S. Department of State in cooperation with POLIN Museum and U.S.-based Association of Holocaust Organizations. Since its inception, more than 250 teachers from approximately thirteen countries have participated.

The Embassy expressed its commitment to remembering those who sacrificed their lives during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
