On March 29 in Warsaw, the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission recognized the contributions of two departing board members. Professor Marek Wierzbowski from Warsaw University’s School of Law and Judith Gliniecki, General Counsel of CEE Equity Partners, were honored for their service. Both served two consecutive three-year terms.

Ambassador Mosbacher expressed gratitude in letters to the departing members, acknowledging their role in guiding the Fulbright Program over the past six years. The ambassador highlighted their efforts in maintaining the program's strength, diversity, and success.

During a gala celebrating the 60th anniversary of Poland’s Fulbright Program, Secretary of State Michael Pompeo commended the commission's work. In his letter, he noted that "Due to the outstanding work of the Commission and other partners, the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Program serves as a model for Fulbright programs around the world."

The U.S. Embassy extended its best wishes to Professor Wierzbowski and Ms. Gliniecki for their future endeavors.
