Standard Chartered launches global campaign targeting affluent clients

Standard Chartered has launched a new global wealth campaign targeting affluent clients. The initiative, titled "Now’s your time for wealth," highlights the bank's commitment to expanding its affluent business. The goal is to achieve USD 200 billion in affluent Net New Money by 2029 and attain double-digit CAGR Wealth Solutions income.

The campaign was developed in collaboration with Publicis Groupe Hong Kong and Singapore. It emphasizes Standard Chartered's global network, expertise, and unique investment solutions. The message conveyed is that delaying financial planning could hinder achieving wealth goals. It showcases the bank's strengths, including its global network and expertise in wealth solutions, aimed at supporting affluent clients like Global Chinese, Global Indian, Entrepreneurs, and Sophisticated Investors.

Samir Subberwal, Global Head of Wealth Solutions, Deposits and Mortgages, stated: “For over 170 years, Standard Chartered has been faithfully serving our clients in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Now’s the time to let our clients know that we are with them on their wealth journey."

Haymans Fung, Global Head of Marketing for Wealth and Retail Banking, explained: “The genesis of our campaign is inspired by our clients and their wealth ambitions... We wanted to break away from the norms of speaking esoterically to the meaning of wealth planning.”

The campaign aims to enhance client engagement through data-driven strategies. It will be promoted via various channels including out-of-home advertising at airports and city sites, print ads, films, and media partnerships across seven markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, Taiwan, UAE, and India.
