Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) has been recognized with a National Sustainable Development Award by Taiwan's National Council for Sustainable Development, also known as the Sustainability Council. This award acknowledges Yuanta FHC's efforts in implementing net-zero transformation and promoting a green supply chain.

Since 2004, the Sustainability Council has organized these awards to honor schools, enterprises, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies demonstrating outstanding sustainability performance. The award is considered the highest national honor for companies in the field of sustainability. Yuanta FHC was selected from 162 entries to win in the Enterprise - Non-Manufacturing category.

Yuanta FHC has integrated net-zero transformation into its operations and business decisions. It launched a "Sustainable Development Strategy Roadmap" aligned with United Nations' sustainable development goals, setting 52 short-, medium-, and long-term goals over five years. The company has introduced various sustainability standards and ISO management systems, leading in areas such as internal carbon pricing mechanisms and IFRS S1 compliance. Yuanta FHC is also part of international initiatives like the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) and the Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting Financials (PBAF).

This year marks Yuanta FHC's sixth consecutive inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Emerging Markets Indices (DJSI). The company has been recognized as number one globally in the DJSI Group of Diversified Financial Services and Capital Markets for three consecutive years. Additionally, it has made CDP’s A List for four years running and achieved Leadership Level ranking six times.

As part of its commitment to sustainable finance, Yuanta FHC addresses five major issues including green procurement. It participates in events like the 2024 Net Zero City Expo to promote green supply chain transformation. Furthermore, Yuanta FHC leads the Empowerment and Certification Working Group within the Net-Zero Promotion Working Platform to bridge government-industry collaboration on sustainable talent development.
