Consulate offers services in Cuenca for passport applications and notarizations

Representatives from the U.S. Consulate General in Guayaquil will be available in Cuenca to provide notarial services and accept passport applications on September 6 and 7, 2023. The event will take place at the Abraham Lincoln Center located at Calle Borrero 5-18 y Honorato Vásquez.

Services will be offered on Wednesday, September 6, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Thursday, September 7, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. An appointment is required for these services.

Applicants are advised to bring correctly filled-out forms along with originals and photocopies of citizenship documents such as passports, birth certificates, age progression photos for children under the age of 16, and IDs of parents. Payment for notarial and passport applications must be made via a cashier’s check from any Ecuadorian bank. The check should be payable to "U.S. Disbursing Officer." Other payment methods will not be accepted during this outreach visit. If necessary, the Embassy’s RUC is provided as "1791845986001."
