Cairo – On February 25, the U.S. Embassy collaborated with Job Nile to host Egypt's largest employment fair. The event featured 72 local and international companies offering over 5,000 jobs and numerous training opportunities for qualified Egyptians. More than 11,000 job seekers attended the day-long fair at The Greek Campus in downtown Cairo.

U.S. Ambassador Stephen Beecroft engaged with job seekers and company representatives during the event. "It’s critical for any society…to be able to offer opportunities to its young people," Ambassador Beecroft stated. "That’s what we’re trying to help with here in Egypt, because we need Egypt to continue to play the fundamental role it has played for years…in leading the region to peace and prosperity."

Job Nile – Recruitment & HR Systems organized the event and has successfully coordinated employment fairs in Egypt for 23 years. This marks the third consecutive year of U.S. sponsorship of the Job Nile fair, focusing on Egyptians who have participated in professional and academic exchange visits to the United States.

The annual fair highlights the U.S. Embassy's commitment to initiatives supporting Egypt's economic growth and prosperity. Last year's fair led to more than 1,500 Egyptians securing full-time jobs. The recent fair also provided information on various study and exchange opportunities available through the U.S. Embassy, including details about their Information Resource Center (IRC) in Cairo.
