Fubon Financial Holdings has reported its earnings for December 2024, revealing a consolidated pre-tax profit of NT$12.61 billion and a net profit of NT$10.51 billion for the month. For the entire year, the company achieved pre-tax and net profits of NT$172.78 billion and NT$151.16 billion, respectively, marking a significant milestone as both figures surpassed NT$150 billion for the first time.
The company's subsidiaries also reported strong performances in 2024. Fubon Life recorded a December net profit of NT$10.54 billion, which was an increase of NT$13.27 billion compared to the same period last year. Its cumulative net profit reached NT$102.53 billion, reflecting a 184% year-over-year growth.
Taipei Fubon Bank's December net profit was reported at NT$1.47 billion, contributing to a cumulative net profit of NT$30.54 billion for the year, up by 25% from the previous year.
Fubon Insurance experienced a December net loss of NT$0.48 billion due to provisions based on accounts receivable assessments but still achieved a cumulative net profit of NT$3.01 billion.
Meanwhile, Fubon Securities posted a December net profit of NT$0.59 billion with its cumulative annual profits reaching NT$10.09 billion—a 43% increase from last year—thanks to active trading in AI and semiconductor sectors.
