Dangerflow, an American hip-hop group from Miami, Florida, is set to perform in Egypt as part of a series of concerts in Cairo and Alexandria. This event is organized under the U.S. Department of State’s American Music Abroad (AMA) program. The concerts are the second installment in the Embassy’s “Al-Hakawatya” series, which focuses on storytelling through music. Previously, American artist Chelsey Green collaborated with Egyptian artist Dina El Wedidi in 2017.

The group's performances will feature a blend of hip-hop, R&B, rock, and Latin percussion mixed with Egyptian popular music. They will perform at Al-Azhar Park on Friday, April 13, with tickets priced at EGP 50. A free public performance is scheduled at Misr University of Science and Technology on Monday, April 16.

During their time in Cairo, Dangerflow plans to conduct workshops with Egyptian musicians and engage with local youth about how music can inspire communities and encourage positive choices. They will collaborate onstage with Ahmed Sheba, Sawarekh, Tarek El Sheik, and Mai Abdel Aziz. Additionally, Dangerflow will travel to Alexandria for further concerts and collaborations from April 17 to 20.

The American Music Abroad program aims to send talented American musicians around the world as Cultural Ambassadors. These artists participate in multi-country tours that include public concerts and interactive sessions with local musicians.
