The U.S. Embassy in Cairo is set to host its fourth annual job fair, "Shaghlna," on March 31 at the Greek Campus in downtown Cairo. This event highlights the Embassy's commitment to supporting Egypt's economic growth and professional development.

Over 60 companies will participate, offering more than 5,000 verified job vacancies. Notable participants include Coca-Cola, General Motors, Berlitz, Raya Contact Center, Vodafone Egypt, and Americana. The fair also offers professional development and training sessions for job seekers. In previous years, many Egyptian applicants have secured employment through these fairs.

Chargé d’Affaires Thomas Goldberger stated that “Shaghlna helps match talented Egyptians with U.S., international, and local companies. We are proud of our support for increased job opportunities in Egypt and we look forward to partnering with Egyptian businesses and the government to continue expanding economic opportunity.”

This "Shaghlna" fair is part of a three-fair series, with upcoming events scheduled in Luxor this May and Alexandria later in the summer. The event is free and open to the public; however, pre-registration is encouraged at http://shaghlna.com/.
