The U.S. Embassy in Cairo has announced its annual job fair, "Sha3’lna," scheduled for Saturday, February 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pyramisa Hotel in Giza. This event aims to connect Egyptian job seekers with thousands of verified job vacancies across more than a dozen industries, offered by over 75 American, Egyptian, and multinational companies.
For the first time, this year's fair will include ten start-up businesses seeking qualified candidates for various positions ranging from accounting to graphic design. Together with traditional companies, these start-ups will offer over 6,500 verified job vacancies.
Chargé d’Affaires Thomas Goldberger stated, “This is our fifth job fair in Cairo and we keep doing this because we keep hearing a demand from so many companies for the great talent that Egypt has to offer. We will continue to support increased job opportunities in Egypt just as we will continue to partner with the Egyptian government and private sector to offer the training needed to prepare Egypt’s workforce for the jobs of the future.”
During the event, attendees can participate in free professional development and training sessions aimed at enhancing skills such as interviewing and resume writing. The fair is part of several initiatives sponsored by the Embassy to promote economic growth and prosperity in Egypt.
Attendance at the Job Fair is free; however, registration is required. For further information and registration details, visit https://www.facebook.com/shaghlna/
