Siemens presented its latest advancements in industrial AI and digital twin technology at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The company highlighted its vision of integrating data, AI, and software-defined automation to enhance flexibility and optimization across industries globally. Peter Koerte, a member of the Managing Board, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer at Siemens AG, emphasized the transformative potential of industrial AI.

"Industrial AI is a game-changer that will create significant positive impact in the real world across all industries," said Koerte. He explained that new capabilities are being added to the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to help customers remain competitive and sustainable.

A key innovation introduced was the Siemens Industrial Copilot for Operations. This tool allows AI tasks to operate near machines on shop floors, facilitating quick decision-making for operators and engineers. The ecosystem is designed to support various sectors including manufacturing and mobility.

In a notable collaboration, JetZero selected Siemens' Xcelerator platform for developing its blended wing aircraft aimed at reducing fuel consumption by 50% and achieving zero carbon emissions by 2035. "Siemens is giving us the confidence to take a leap," stated JetZero CEO Tom O'Leary.

Siemens also announced initiatives like the Siemens for Startups program to provide startups with access to industrial metaverse technologies. Collaborations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) offer additional resources for technical support.

The company further expanded its partnership with NVIDIA, integrating large-scale visualization into product lifecycle management systems through Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer powered by NVIDIA Omniverse. "Our continued collaboration with NVIDIA will be transformative for our customers," said Koerte.

In collaboration with Sony Corporation, Siemens introduced an immersive engineering solution combining NX software with Sony's head-mounted display technology. Seiya Amatatsu from Sony remarked on this development: "We firmly believe this new immersive engineering solution will pave the way for the future of engineering."

Additionally, Tony Hemmelgarn from Siemens Digital Industries Software unveiled Designcenter software suite aimed at unifying design tools under one platform accessible to companies of all sizes. "Designcenter is unique in that it is truly open and accessible for everyone," he noted.

At CES 2025, Siemens showcased several customer solutions impacting global communities such as Spinnova's sustainable textile production using digital twin technologies and Wayout International's water technology solutions employing edge computing.
