ING continues share buyback with over 52 million shares repurchased

ING has announced progress in its €2.0 billion share buyback programme. During the week from December 30, 2024, to January 3, 2025, the company repurchased a total of 3,603,185 shares. The average price for these shares was €15.10, amounting to a total expenditure of €54,411,876.12.

The programme aims to reduce ING's share capital. So far, the company has repurchased a total of 52,033,958 ordinary shares at an average price of €14.98. This represents a cumulative cost of €779,208,205.28 and approximately 38.96% completion of the buyback's maximum total value.
