ING updates on progress in its ongoing share buyback programme

ING has provided an update on its €2.0 billion share buyback programme, which was initially announced on October 31, 2024. During the week from December 23 to December 27, 2024, ING repurchased a total of 3,163,956 shares.

The average price for these shares was €14.85 each, amounting to a total expenditure of €46,987,104.63. Detailed information about the daily repurchases and individual transactions is available upon request.

The initiative aims to reduce ING's share capital. As of now, the programme has successfully bought back 48,430,773 ordinary shares at an average price of €14.97 per share. This totals a consideration of €724,796,329.16 and accounts for approximately 36.24% completion of the planned buyback value.
