Fubon Life and Fubon Insurance receive seven awards from Financial Supervisory Commission

The Financial Supervisory Commission recently recognized Fubon Life and Fubon Insurance for their contributions to inclusive finance, awarding them a total of seven honors. The awards ceremony highlighted the companies' commitment to fair customer treatment within the insurance industry.

Fubon Life received four awards: the Friendly Senior Award, Universal Protection Award for its "Micro Endowment Insurance," Outstanding Business Performance Award, and Disability Care Award in the Micro Insurance Awards category. President Sue-Iue Chen stated that Fubon Life's corporate culture is centered on "fair treatment of customers," influencing all operations from product design to customer service. Since 2014, Fubon Life has promoted microinsurance, benefiting over 120,000 economically disadvantaged individuals with NT$73 million in donations and providing coverage amounting to over NT$45 billion.

Fubon Insurance was also acknowledged with three awards: the Six Major Core and Public Infrastructure Investment Award, Excellence Award for Residential Earthquake Insurance, and Microinsurance Award. President Carrera Lai noted that Fubon Insurance supports government policies for inclusive finance through partnerships with social welfare organizations. The company has donated over NT$26 million and provided protection for more than 71,000 disadvantaged individuals.

Both companies were ranked within the top 25% in the Fair Treatment of Customers Principle Assessment by the Financial Supervisory Commission. They continue to focus on initiatives that promote financial inclusion and security for diverse customer groups.
