A banking consortium, comprising KfW IPEX-Bank, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB), and Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB), has committed over EUR 100 million to Auris Energia. This funding will aid in industrial electrification and the development of sustainable energy infrastructure in Finland. It also supports the expansion of renewable gas production and projects aimed at deploying renewable energy.
The financing is expected to facilitate investments in new technologies aligned with Finland’s carbon neutrality objectives. Auris Energia is entirely owned by the abrdn infrastructure fund, known for its history of supporting sustainability and infrastructure projects across Europe.
“We are glad to have won Auris Energia as a new client,” said Andreas Ufer, a member of the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank. “With our financing we support Finland's energy transition and underline our commitment for a decarbonised future.”
