The company, participating in the survey for the first time this year, aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and is implementing strategies to reduce its carbon footprint.
The "Carbon Competitiveness 100" survey is organized by Business Weekly Group and National Taiwan University's Risk Society and Policy Research Center. It evaluates how companies can transform their carbon reduction initiatives into competitive advantages.
Yuanta FHC has adopted ISO management systems for environmental control, achieving significant milestones. In 2018, it obtained ISO14064-1 certification for greenhouse gas inventory. The company's actions have led to a 22% reduction in carbon emissions in 2023 compared to 2020, surpassing its initial target of 12.6%.
The company collaborates with stakeholders on climate solutions through various products and services.
