ING has provided an update on its ongoing €2.0 billion share buyback program, initially announced on October 31, 2024. During the week from November 25 to November 29, a total of 5,718,266 shares were repurchased. The shares were acquired at an average price of €14.53, amounting to a total expenditure of €83,095,262.58.
The company aims to reduce its share capital through this initiative. To date, ING has repurchased a total of 28,626,544 ordinary shares at an average price of €15.04. This amounts to a cumulative cost of €430,584,222.32 and represents approximately 21.53% completion of the program's maximum total value.
