Morgan Stanley has announced the opening of its new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore. The office is located at IOI Central Boulevard Towers in downtown Singapore. The inauguration was attended by Morgan Stanley's Chief Executive Officer, Ted Pick, along with Morgan Stanley Asia CEO, Gokul Laroia, and Leong Sing Chiong from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
The new office spans 107,000 square feet over five floors and will serve as a regional hub for the firm's operations in Southeast Asia. It features modern facilities and advanced technology infrastructure to enhance service delivery to clients.
“We are excited to open our new Southeast Asia headquarters, an investment that reflects our commitment to Singapore and the wider region where we see significant long-term growth opportunities,” said Ted Pick. “The new headquarters will play a pivotal role in Morgan Stanley’s growth strategy in Southeast Asia, allowing us to strengthen our presence and better serve clients.”
David Aronovitch, CEO of Southeast Asia for Morgan Stanley, added that the new office marks a significant milestone for the firm. “The inauguration of our new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore represents a significant milestone for Morgan Stanley. The new office provides an enhanced client experience and a world-class work environment for employees that will further drive collaboration and productivity.”
In line with sustainability goals, the building aims for BCA Green Mark Platinum certification and BCA Universal Design Gold Mark accessibility certification. It also targets LEED Gold and Fitwell 1-Star certifications with measures like low energy lighting systems and high-efficiency equipment.
Morgan Stanley has been operating in Singapore since 1990. The city-state acts as its regional headquarters with additional offices in Jakarta, Bangkok, and Manila. Services offered include investment banking, securities trading, private wealth management among others.
