Prudential plc has announced a partnership with Icon Cancer Centre Singapore, expanding its healthcare network to offer cashless outpatient cancer treatment for customers in Singapore and Indonesia. This collaboration grants access to ten clinics, including a comprehensive cancer center at Icon Cancer Centre Singapore.
The partnership allows Prudential's health customers to receive treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiotherapy, and surgical oncology at Icon’s clinics without upfront payment. Customers can also benefit from the expertise of leading oncologists and haematologists. Those based in Singapore have access to diagnostic screening facilities, while Indonesian customers can opt for treatment at any preferred clinic within the Icon network in Singapore.

He added that integrating Icon into their preferred partnership network enables easy access to specialist cancer centers without out-of-pocket expenses.

The World Health Organisation reports over 2.3 million annual cancer diagnoses in Southeast Asia. In Singapore alone, incidence rates have risen by nearly 28% over the past five decades. Similarly, Indonesia saw a 17% increase in new cases between 2020 and 2022.
Prudential aims to extend this initiative beyond Singapore and Indonesia due to rising demand for health insurance and medical claims.
