John Patrick Mullin, CEO of MANTRA, said that while many assets can be tokenized, "real estate," particularly in Dubai’s extensive market, offers a significantly greater "tokenization" opportunity than smaller assets. Mullin made this assertion during his presentation at Binance Blockchain Week.

"You can tokenize basically anything... But think about it like this," said Patrick Mullin. "How many Pokémon cards or nice watches does it take to tokenize a billion dollars worth of those assets? A lot. An incredible amount. Whereas with real estate, particularly here... This is a soon-to-be trillion-dirham industry on a yearly basis in Dubai alone. That's insane."

According to forecasts by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2023, the tokenized asset market is expected to grow from $1.5 trillion to $16.1 trillion by 2030. This projection suggests a promising future for borderless, on-chain investments.

A report by BCG in 2023 highlights that real estate tokenization alone could contribute up to $3.2 trillion to the overall market. By improving liquidity, simplifying operations, and enabling borderless access, tokenization is transforming how investors engage with high-value assets and fostering more inclusive global markets.

Traditional alternative investments often require minimum investments exceeding $250,000, creating barriers for many individuals. Bain & Company reports that tokenization can lower these minimum investment amounts to as low as $1,000, thereby "broadening the investor base significantly" and allowing more individuals to participate in high-value asset markets. This democratization of access can lead to a more inclusive financial system.

MANTRA is a blockchain platform that tokenizes real-world assets while adhering to regulatory requirements. It supports developers and users with low-cost transactions, identity verification, and compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Built on Cosmos SDK with Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC), MANTRA enables secure cross-chain transactions, decentralized identity (DID), and governance.

Binance Blockchain Week is a conference bringing together innovators, founders, investors, regulators, and officials to discuss the future of blockchain and Web3. According to the event's website, this year's theme is "Momentum." The website states: "Momentum propels our industry, not only taking us through challenges but also leading us to our biggest achievements."
