ANZ has announced the appointment of Tim Hogarth as its new Chief Technology Officer. Hogarth, who previously served as ANZ's Chief Architect, will report to Gerard Florian, ANZ Group Executive Technology.

In his new role, Hogarth will focus on ANZ's long-term technology needs to ensure that decisions and investments align with future requirements as well as current ones.

Gerard Florian commented on the appointment: “I’m really pleased to have Tim in this new role, which we created to reflect the importance of technology leadership within my team and across ANZ more broadly."

Florian highlighted Hogarth's contributions in recent years: “In recent years Tim has helped us make great progress in further strengthening our architecture objectives and driving ongoing improvements in our engineering standards."

He added: “This track record and Tim’s reputation for being thoughtful, engaging and enthusiastic about all aspects of technology make him a great fit for this new role.”
