ANZ has announced the launch of its new digital banking service, ANZ Plus, which is now open for customer registrations. The service will initially offer savings and transaction accounts and is set to be available from early 2022. ANZ Plus aims to transform traditional banking by introducing a range of digital money management tools designed to enhance financial wellbeing for individuals and businesses.

The features of ANZ Plus include detailed transaction data with maps and categories, goal setting with interest earnings, spending alerts, monthly spending summaries by category, secure in-app chat with an ANZ Plus Coach, predictions for upcoming bills and subscriptions, custom tags for payments and transactions, and robust security measures including ANZ Falcon™ anti-fraud protection.

Maile Carnegie, ANZ Group Executive Digital and Australia Transformation, stated: “ANZ Plus will completely reinvent what our customers expect from us with leading design and engineering capabilities underpinning a new way for customers to achieve their financial goals." She added that significant progress was made on building the platform in 2021 and it will soon be ready for customers. Initially starting with savings and transaction products, more services will be progressively added.

ANZ Plus represents a major shift in how customers can manage their finances. It is scheduled to become available in early 2022. More information can be found at https://www.anz.com.au/plus/.
