ANZ has announced the appointment of Son Pham as the new Head of Markets in Vietnam. Pham transitions from Deutsche Bank, where he spent 24 years in various senior leadership roles within Markets, Corporate Banking, and Transaction Banking. His most recent position was Head of Fixed Income and Currency in Vietnam.
Jodi West, ANZ Vietnam Country Head, commented on the appointment: “Son is an exciting addition to our Markets team, bringing extensive leadership experience and Markets expertise." West emphasized that Pham's skills will be crucial as ANZ aims to expand its Markets business by providing tailored derivatives solutions to institutional clients both in Vietnam and internationally.
Pham will be stationed in Hanoi and will report to Jodi West as well as Herr-Ling Yeoh, ANZ Head of Principal FX & Head of Markets SEA. The appointment is effective immediately.
