ANZ has launched its ANZ Plus app for Android users, expanding access to its digital banking service. The app offers an everyday account with no monthly fees and a multi-goal savings account aimed at helping customers manage their finances more effectively.
The app allows users to join ANZ Plus quickly using an Australian passport or driver's license and a selfie for identity verification. The savings account lets customers set up to 99 goals without opening new accounts, with tiered interest available on all goals without needing a minimum balance.
Features like money tiles provide insights into spending patterns, while the ability to view upcoming transactions helps predict regular expenses. ANZ Plus coaches are available through secure in-app chat for additional support.
Peter Dalton, Managing Director of Design and Delivery ANZx at ANZ, stated: “Given Android is the most popular smartphone operating system in Australia, we’re excited to deliver our Android app today, opening ANZ Plus and its savings features, including great interest rates, to a wider customer base.”
“With tools to help customers make financially healthy choices, a multi-goal savings account and coaches to provide expert support, ANZ Plus gives customers greater visibility and control over their finances,” Mr. Dalton added.
The app is available for free download on Google Play or via the ANZ Plus website.
