ANZ retains top spot for relationship quality in Asian banking

ANZ Institutional has retained its position as the leading bank for relationship quality in Asia, securing the title of Greenwich Quality Leader in the 2022 Asian Large Corporate Banking Study for the sixth consecutive year. The bank, operating in 13 markets across Asia, was also recognized as the Overall Relationship Quality Leader in China and Hong Kong for six years running and regained its top spot in Singapore.

Our strategy in Asia is to support trade and capital flows around the region and as the most outward looking Australian bank it’s pleasing to see it’s valued by the market and continues to differentiate our proposition.”

ANZ achieved several accolades from Coalition Greenwich:

- Overall Relationship Quality Leader in Asia (6th year)

- Overall Relationship Quality Leader in Hong Kong (6th year)

- Overall Relationship Quality Leader in China (6th year)

- Overall Relationship Quality Leader in Singapore

The bank was also awarded first place for 'Ease of Doing Business', 'Coordinating of Product Specialists', 'Proactive provision of Advice', 'Ability to Streamline KYC Processes', 'Effective Senior Management Support', 'Timely Follow-Up', 'Frequency of Contact', and 'Knowledge of International Banking Needs' among others.

In total, ANZ was distinguished for eight out of twelve Excellence Awards listed. The study conducted interviews with 912 corporates across Asia with annual revenues of approximately US$500 million or more. Among over 210 banks evaluated, ANZ emerged as one of seven banks with distinctive quality.
