Former Binance CEO to attend Blockchain Week Dubai

Changpeng Zhao, founder and former CEO of Binance, announced his attendance at the upcoming Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai, scheduled for October 30-31. Zhao made this announcement on October 10 via a post on X.

"It’s one of the biggest web3 events of the year," Zhao said regarding the Binance Blockchain Week in his announcement.

According to a press release by Binance, the event will commence with opening remarks from Binance CEO Richard Teng and a keynote address by Dubai Future Foundation’s CEO, H.E. Khalfan Belhoul. The morning sessions will concentrate on regulatory advancements, global crypto economies, and investment opportunities. Speakers include Dubai Blockchain Center CEO Dr. Marwan Alzarouni and El Salvador’s Digital Assets Regulator JC Reyes. Panels will also discuss venture capital, challenges in the crypto market, Web3 technology adoption by Web2 companies, and the impact of generative AI.

On October 31, discussions will pivot to crypto marketing, data analytics, and strategies for onboarding new users. Notable speakers include Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier, Solana Foundation President Lily Liu, and TikTok's Matty Lin. Topics such as stablecoins, decentralized exchanges (DEX), and real-world asset tokenization will be covered with insights from Circle's Jeremy Allaire and Polygon's Sandeep Nailwal. Further discussions will explore Web3’s influence on gaming, user experience enhancements, and regulatory challenges.
