The Global Sovereign Debt Roundtable (GSDR), a collaborative platform for debtor countries and creditors, aims to foster a shared understanding of debt sustainability and restructuring challenges. The GSDR seeks to develop strategies to effectively address these issues.

Co-chaired by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and the current G20 Presidency holder, Brazil, the roundtable comprises official bilateral creditors. These include both traditional creditor members of the Paris Club and new creditors, as well as private creditors and borrowing countries.

The GSDR has been active in documenting its progress through co-chairs' reports. The first report was published in October 2023, followed by a second one in April 2024. In addition to these reports, a Compendium of Common Understanding on Technical Issues was also released in April 2024.
