The prestigious award was given in recognition of LBIG's innovative digital tool, the Intelligent Plan Designer, which was launched in conjunction with Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company's Hospital Indemnity Plus insurance product in July 2023.
Eric Johansson, the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Liberty Bankers Insurance Group, highlighted the purpose of the Intelligent Plan Designer, stating, "We introduced the Intelligent Plan Designer to assist insurance agents in navigating through countless plan design options. This digital application reduces sales friction caused by millions of possible combinations of coverage levels, benefit durations, and rider selections."
The American Business Awards, known as the U.S.A.'s premier business awards program, will present the Stevie® Awards at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 11. The awards, nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning "crowned," recognize excellence in various categories across organizations in the United States.
