Binance Charity, the philanthropic subsidiary of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a partnership with the nonprofit Superhumans Foundation. The collaboration aims to support Ukrainian individuals affected by the ongoing conflict in their country, with a focus on educational initiatives and programs for war veterans.

According to a post on Binance's website, the partnership will see Binance Charity and the Superhumans Foundation offering educational courses designed to equip Ukrainians with the knowledge and skills necessary to establish their own businesses. Additionally, the initiative seeks to empower war veterans by helping them transition their skills into civilian life. Over the next three years, Binance Charity and the Superhumans Foundation aim to reach up to 100,000 veterans.

In a statement shared in the post, Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s regional head for central and eastern Europe and central Asia said, "Extending aid to war victims is an essential measure to facilitate their healing, recovery, and prosperity. We are privileged to unite with Superhumans in providing this assistance and optimism to individuals who have gone through terrible suffering." Khomiakov expressed excitement about helping Ukrainian war victims envision a renewed and fulfilling life. He added that he believes "our initiative and investment will generate opportunities for numerous individuals to kick-start new chapters in their lives."

The post also mentioned an entrepreneurship program provided through the partnership. This course targets existing and aspiring business owners who will receive mentorship support alongside their education. The post highlighted that "this endeavor, offering support, education, and viable business opportunities to people scarred by war notably underscores Binance's dedication to extending the empowering reach of blockchain technology well beyond the financial realm."

Olga Rudnieva, CEO of Superhumans Center said in a statement shared in the post that they are pleased "to partner with Binance in the area of veterans' reintegration into civilian life." She emphasized that mobility and independence for people with disabilities are not only about medical services but also involve having a stable source of income, interacting with colleagues, and feeling needed in society.

Launched in 2017, Binance has grown to become the largest crypto exchange in the world, according to CoinMarketCap. As of August 2022, Binance had a daily trading volume of approximately $76 billion. The platform lists more than 350 tokens and enables users to buy, sell, and store digital assets.
