Proven Behavioral Solutions, a Massachusetts-based provider of clinical services for children and teenagers diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), has appointed a new independent director. The appointee, Mark Donovan, boasts significant experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD and currently serves on the board of Aesthetic Partners and Southern Family Dental Partners.

According to the press release announcing his appointment, Donovan's professional background includes tenure as the CEO of Attain ABA, a company specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. "It's a privilege to join an organization so focused on human development and delivering meaningful outcomes for its clients and families. It's not every day that you can partner with business leaders whose values align so closely with yours," Donovan expressed in the February 2nd news release.

Proven Behavioral Solutions provides a broad range of services for individuals grappling with conditions associated with ASD. These services encompass applied behavior analysis; speech and language therapies; advocacy for those requiring special education; social skills groups; occupational therapy; along with other training programs, as per the company’s website.

Donovan currently holds the position of CEO at Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Boston, Massachusetts. His past roles include an 18-month stint as CEO at Attain ABA; over five years as Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President at Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care; and eight years as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business at Vantage Oncology in the greater Boston area, according to Donovan’s LinkedIn profile.

Scott Snider, CEO of Proven Behavior Solutions, expressed his excitement about working with Donovan. "I am thrilled to work with such an accomplished founder, operator, and investor. Mark has seen firsthand how private companies can address some of healthcare's most significant challenges from multiple angles. His directly relevant experience with Attain will be an invaluable source of new ideas, validation, and reassuring perspective as we continue to grow across Southern New England," Snider said in the news release.

In his role as an independent director, Donovan will aid the company's geographic and service expansion efforts. Besides the services already mentioned, the company employs Proven Assistive Technology to support individuals with disabilities in Eastern Massachusetts to live independently, according to the news release.
