Three individuals have been appointed to new positions at Butterfield. Michael Neff has been named Group Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Dallas will assume the role of Group Chief Experience Officer, and Jody Feldman has been promoted to Managing Director of Bermuda.
Neff joined the bank in 2011 and has served as the company’s Managing Director of Bermuda and International Wealth since 2018. He brings over three decades of experience in financial services. According to a news release on January 15 announcing personnel changes, Neff led the implementation of the global wealth management client model at Chemical Bank’s Private Banking Group before establishing a financial planning technology consultancy, AnswerSpace, in the late 1990s. He also founded Monetaire, Inc., a financial planning and advice software package that RiskMetrics Group acquired in 2004. At RiskMetrics, he began as Global Head of Wealth Management and later became co-head of the firm’s Global Financial Risk Management business before joining Butterfield.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael Collins expressed his anticipation for working with the newly appointed leaders. "I look forward to working with Michael, Jody and Kevin in their new roles and congratulate them," said Collins. "As experienced and seasoned financial services professionals, they have a deep understanding of the industry and have made valuable contributions to Butterfield. These appointments strengthen our leadership team, with a focus on operational effectiveness and exceptional client services, as we continue to deliver against our strategic priorities for long-term growth."
Feldman's career started at HSBC where he worked with financial institution clients for 15 years across locations including Bermuda, New York, and London. He held key positions at Deutsche Bank where he was Managing Director as well as Head of Financial Institutions in North America for the corporate banking team. In addition to these roles, Feldman was co-head of the Insurance Council with a focus on increasing sales and trade revenues with insurance companies.
Prior to joining Butterfield in 2020, Dallas gained experience in marketing strategy and customer growth. He was a partner and strategy consultant at Bain & Company and served as Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Worldpay plc in London. From 2017 to 2020, he led Bermuda’s Tourism Authority.
