Rachel Rust has been appointed as the Chief Experience Officer at the State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU), while Victor Rust assumes the role of Chief Retail Officer.
Prior to her appointment at SDFCU, Rachel Rust held various positions across several credit unions. According to her LinkedIn profile, she started her career with Service Credit Union, serving as Assistant Manager for four years before moving on to a two-year stint as Branch Manager in Germany. Subsequently, she joined Andrews Federal Credit Union where she held numerous roles including Branch Manager II in Belgium and several positions at the Hesse, Germany branch such as Overseas Branch Operations Manager, Director of Overseas Operations, and Vice President of Euro Operations. Rust is a Liberty University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Magna Cum Laude honors.
In her new role at SDFCU, Rust will be responsible for overseeing the entire member experience flow. According to the news release announcing her hire, she will develop and implement strategies aimed at improving and personalizing interactions between the credit union and its global members.

Victor Hall joined SDFCU in 2017 after working at Capital One Financial Services as a Senior Product Manager and Citizens Financial Group as VP-Payments Product Ops Manager for just over nine years. During his tenure at SDFCU, he served as Director of Payments, Deposits, Digital Innovation and Operations for three years before being promoted to Senior Director of Retail Delivery from February 2020 until January 2024, according to his LinkedIn profile. Hall holds a Master of Business Administration from Johnson and Wales University.
