Jeff Doane has been appointed as the chief commercial officer of Omni Hotels and Resorts. With over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry, Doane's portfolio includes tenures at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International and Accor North America, where he also served as the chief commercial officer.

In his new role, Doane will be tasked with formulating and implementing the company’s commercial strategy across all hotels and resorts in Canada and the United States. According to a news release dated January 10, his responsibilities will encompass overseeing global and hotel sales organizations, revenue management, the Select Guest Loyalty program, as well as all marketing disciplines within the company.

CEO Kurt Alexander warmly welcomed Doane to the team stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Jeff to the Omni family. His experience leading high performing teams at successful brands like Fairmont will be a key asset to our organization as we continue to elevate our brand position and differentiate Omni Hotels & Resorts in the marketplace. Being able to add a leader like Jeff in concert with the recent addition of our new COO, Vince Parrotta, also underscores Omni's commitment to hiring best-in-class talent." In his new capacity, Doane will report directly to Alexander.

Omni Hotels and Resorts is based in Dallas, Texas with a network of 50 hotels spread across U.S. and Canada. The company boasts approximately 23,550 rooms within its portfolio and employs around 14,100 associates across these hotels according to information available on their official website.

The company offers several signature programs such as the Select Guest loyalty program and Omni Junior Chefs which provides young guests with a welcome tote/lunch bag filled with organic snacks upon check-in. A special menu designed for their taste buds is also made available at hotel restaurants. Select Guest members have access to free Wi-Fi along with a Get Fit Kit containing fitness equipment like a five-pound kettlebell, mini contour weights a foam roller, push up bars, and a yoga mat.

Doane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is also an active member on several boards including the HSMAI Foundation Board where he serves as the organization’s CMO. Additionally, he is part of the US Travel CEO Board and the Plug & Play Hospitality Advisory Board.
