Quadient, a financial firm based in Paris, has announced its integration with Xero to enhance the accounts payable processes for small and medium-sized businesses. Quadient's Accounts Payable automation is increasingly being acknowledged for its ability to assist business owners with their accounting tasks.

The collaboration between Quadient and Xero was made public on Dec. 19. Quadient specializes in assisting business owners in streamlining accounts payable issues, while Xero, a cloud-based accounting system, boasts millions of subscribers globally. The integration of Quadient’s Accounts Payable automation will eliminate the need for business owners to manually import or export data, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors.

Chris Hartigan, Chief Solution Officer of Intelligent Communication Automation at Quadient said, "We are excited to welcome Xero to our growing partner program. Quadient's strategy is to establish partnerships with the world’s major enterprise resource planning and accounting platforms to bring industry-leading technology solutions to our mutual customers. By partnering with Xero, we are expanding access of Quadient AP to more accounting teams so they can focus on deeper, more strategic decisioning rather than manual invoice and payment processing."

Quadient positions itself as the driving force behind the world’s most meaningful customer experiences. It emphasizes that a business transaction is not merely a transaction but a potential starting point for a new long-term relationship with a customer. The company operates multiple divisions including communication automations, intelligent parcel lockers, and smart mailing and shipping solutions.

Prudence Musubi, Senior Accountant for ArcFyre International - a joint customer of Quadient and Xero - stated her appreciation for the system: "One thing that I love about the system is that it effectively eliminates duplicate payments, flagging such invoices for investigation. And I like the fact that once you code everything on the system, it's a quick process. We can easily pull any report and verify if the content system has captured accurately the data in the invoices. We then know that the system is working perfectly."

Xero’s accounting software aims to simplify daily administrative tasks related to finances for small and medium-sized businesses. Customers can pay bills, connect with their financial institution, and claim expenses within the cloud-based software. Moreover, business owners can accept payments, track projects, and even integrate with Gusto payroll software to simplify payroll processes.
