Convergint confirmed plans to acquire Sydney-based audio-visual, workspace and communications technology solutions provider, Peace of Mind Technology in an effort to enter the Audio-Visual Technology Market in Australia. According to a press release, the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

Established in 1996, POMT offers audio-visual and workspace design, strategy, and technology solutions to customers across Australia, according to the press release. This acquisition brings more than 130 colleagues to Convergint.

The expansion also comes after Convergint’s acquisition of Seal Telecom. Per the press release, since 2021, the company has made an effort to develop a global AV offering, which has so far been successful.
