Mott and Conflux, leading advanced manufacturing (AM) companies respectively based in the United States and Australia, declared the forming of a partnership that aims to bring Conflux's 3D-printed thermal solutions to U.S. markets, according to a release published on Wednesday.

"With complementary technologies plus a mutual commitment to excellence, we're excited to cooperate with Mott on delivering our industry-leading thermal management solutions to customers across North America," said Conflux Technology Chief Product Officer Dan Woodford.

Mott is a filtration company whose products span several industries including medicine and exploration and can be found in other devices such as lifesaving medical equipment and the Mars Rover. Mott has utilized additive manufacturing to produce metal components with integrated hardware, which the press release describes as a game-changing development that improves product performance in a fraction of the design envelope. Conflux Technology began working in F1 racing in 2015 before working on solutions for clients in industries such as aerospace, defense, industrial, energy, automotive and microelectronics. Conflux Technology is highly regarded for its specialty of additively manufactured thermal management solutions.
